Business Development Manager (ref.673)

Reports to: Sales Director, China

The purpose of this role is to generate business by proactively searching/finding/communication with a potential key helper in city level in Metro business segment in China market. This includes developing new key roles, identification and qualifying the right roles, working with sales directors and presale team to generate potential leads in different cities in Metro.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Define business development plan and execute and follow up accordingly;
  • Identify the key/important business influencer in city level;
  • Proactively develop a new business relationship in regions;
  • Responsible for lead generation, make cooperation plan with our key partner in China
  • Understand and collect competitor information
  • Lead and assist the transportation marketing event in the field
  • Attend team meeting and report prospects and status of new leads

 

Position Requirments: 

  • Deep understanding in Metro industry, Strong background and relationships in Metro and railway segment
  • At least 5 years business develop experience in Metro and railway segment, prefer to have the working history in the similar business environment.
  • Proven track records to generate new leads from local partners and business development ability in past
  • Strong strategic business development skill
  • Strong analytical skills and able to deliver the key selling points
  • Strong English communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone
  • Based in Beijing, can be considered to other cities if the candidate is outstanding good
  • 20%~30% working time for travel
