October 21, 2026

Who Bought Cambium Networks?

Product Status for Partners and ISPs

Last updated: October 21, 2026. We update this page as new public information becomes available.

Cambium Networks went into administration on September 14, 2026, and its product lines have been sold to two companies.

Airspan bought PMP 450, PTP 670, PTP 450i, PTP 700, cnWave, and cnReach.

Univastu India bought ePMP and the Enterprise Wi-Fi and switching lines on October 14 and will keep the Cambium Networks brand. Univastu says product availability, support, and roadmaps will depend on transition arrangements still being worked out. Your installed radios keep working, but expect a transition period. If you run ePMP, plan now.

You don't have to wait to keep growing. RADWIN, part of the RAD Group with more than 2 million radios deployed worldwide, can supply your next towers today and give you a clear path to our next-generation platform, QORA.

QORA, our next-generation platform, delivers up to 10 Gbps per sector, coverage of up to 40 km, and fiber-grade performance—GA Q1, 2027.

Partner-first support.

Network design help, structured proof-of-concept trials, and a global technical support team.

What is QORA, and why does it matter if I'm switching?

QORA is RADWIN's next-generation wireless platform and a new standard for deterministic wireless networks: guaranteed performance, not best effort. It brings fiber-equivalent performance and Wi-Fi 7 technology outdoors and lets you run business, residential, and industrial services on one network. It is designed to change the economics of the category. Early access is open now for select partners, and general availability is targeted for Q1 2027.

For partners leaving Cambium, that means the platform you choose today comes with a clear future. Start with RADWIN JET, Alpha PRO, or RADWIN 2000 E now, and plan your next-generation network with QORA.

RADWIN QORA Next-Generation Wi-Fi 7 PtMP Solution

Who bought Cambium Networks' product lines?

Two companies. Airspan bought PMP 450, PTP 670, PTP 450i, PTP 700, cnWave, and cnReach, announced September 22, 2026. Univastu India bought ePMP and the Enterprise Wi-Fi and cnMatrix switching businesses, completed October 14, 2026, and will keep the Cambium Networks brand.

Will my Cambium equipment stop working?

No. Installed radios keep passing traffic. What changes is access to firmware updates, cloud management, warranty claims, and replacement hardware. How much that matters depends on the product line you run.

What is happening with cnMaestro?

cnMaestro is being split into two versions, each with its own roadmap. Airspan's version covers the fixed wireless products it bought (PMP 450, PTP and cnWave), and Airspan says it will keep supporting cloud management for them. Univastu's version covers ePMP and the enterprise lines (Wi-Fi, cnMatrix and NSE). Existing devices are routed automatically to the right version. Export every configuration now and make sure you can log in to each radio directly, without the cloud controller. RADWIN networks are managed with RADWIN Command, one dashboard for configuration, monitoring and fault detection.

What is the future of ePMP?

ePMP was sold on October 14, 2026, to Univastu India, through its UK subsidiary Univastu UK Ltd. Univastu will keep the Cambium Networks brand and the existing team. It has said product availability, support, service continuity and future roadmaps will depend on transition arrangements, which will likely take some time before full clarity is reached.

Univastu will run the business as a standalone subsidiary, and its managing director, Pradeep Khandagale, is now chairman and managing director of Cambium Networks. He has said Univastu will work with customers on access, service and support arrangements. ePMP will also be managed through its own version of cnMaestro, with a roadmap separate from the rest of Cambium's former fixed wireless products.

In the meantime, RADWIN JET is available today. [See: Looking for an ePMP or PMP 450 alternative?]

What should I do in the next 90 days?

  1. List everything: every access point, subscriber unit and backhaul link, with firmware version and subscriber count.
  2. Secure local access: confirm you can manage each radio directly by IP, with local admin credentials.
  3. Back up configurations: especially anything held only in the cloud.
  4. Buy spares for your busiest sectors first: access points before subscriber units.
  5. Get commitments in writing: from your distributor or the new owner of each product line, covering firmware, RMAs and spares.
  6. Pick a second platform: start with new towers and your most constrained sectors.

Do I need to replace my whole network?

No. Most operators move in stages: new towers and expansions first, then critical links and congested sectors, then the rest as equipment ages. Running two vendors side by side is normal, and it removes the risk of depending on a single supplier.

Who do I contact about my account?

The administrators have published a contact address for enquiries: Cambium.restructuring@rsmuk.com. Your distributor is also a good first call for stock and warranty questions.

What should I look for in a second vendor?

Ask every vendor four questions: Is your supply stable? How fast can you ship? Does my network keep running if your clouds go offline? What does your roadmap look like for the next two years?

For example, RADWIN has supported service providers for over [25] years, ships from regional logistics hubs [in 1–2 weeks] and offers structured proof-of-concept trials so you can test before committing.

Is there a RADWIN alternative to ePMP, PMP 450 and Cambium PtP?

Yes. RADWIN's JET family covers point-to-multipoint access networks. [See: Looking for an ePMP or PMP 450 alternative?] For point-to-point links, RADWIN Alpha PRO and RADWIN 2000 E cover everything from low-power access links to 2.5 Gbps backhaul. [See: Cambium PtP alternative]
